Who we are
InstrutorDrive is an app developed by Sertta, an individual developer (sole proprietor), for independent driving instructors to organize students, lessons and finances.
This policy covers the InstrutorDrive app and the account creation, subscription and support related to it. For privacy matters, contact us at support@sertta.com.
Data we collect
To create and run your account, we collect:
- Email and password, used to sign in and protect your account.
- Instructor profile: name, phone number, ID number (CPF), licence categories and expiry, and address.
- Minimal technical data needed to operate the app.
We do not collect your precise location, device contacts, photos or microphone, and we do not use your data for advertising.
Student and third-party data you enter
To manage your lessons, you may enter data about your students (such as name, ID number, email, address, phone, licence category and vehicle) and, where applicable, the vehicle owner (name and ID number). This data is entered and controlled by you.
When you generate a service contract, we assemble a PDF with the contract data (instructor, student, vehicle and terms) for you to sign digitally through your gov.br account, and we keep it in your records, linked to you.
For that data, you act as the controller and InstrutorDrive/Sertta acts as the processor, handling it only to provide the app’s features.
You are responsible for having a legal basis and the proper authorization to enter and process your students’ and third parties’ data, in line with applicable data protection law (LGPD).
How we use the data
- Operate and maintain the app.
- Authenticate and protect your account.
- Generate documents such as lesson receipts and service contracts.
- Process and validate your subscription.
- Provide support and comply with legal obligations.
Legal basis
We process data to perform the contract (provide the service you signed up for), to comply with legal obligations, and based on the legitimate interest of operating and improving the app securely. For your students’ data, the legal basis is your responsibility as controller.
Sharing and providers
We do not sell your data and do not share it for third-party advertising. We use providers that process data on our behalf:
- Supabase — cloud database, authentication and storage infrastructure.
- Google Play (Google) — payment processing and subscription management.
These providers access data only to deliver the service and are subject to their own terms and policies.
You sign the contract digitally yourself, directly on the gov.br services (the Brazilian Government’s ITI Signer and Validator). InstrutorDrive does not send your data automatically to those services: you attach and sign the PDF manually, under gov.br’s own terms.
Storage and security
Your data is stored on cloud servers (Supabase) and transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS). We apply technical and organizational measures to protect it, and access to your data requires signing in to your account.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time directly in the app, under “My data” → “Delete my account”.
Deleting your account permanently removes your profile and all associated data (students, lessons, services, plans, financial records and subscription) from our systems. You can also request deletion by emailing support@sertta.com.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, portability, information about processing, and deletion of your data. To exercise these rights, use the in-app deletion or write to support@sertta.com.
Children
InstrutorDrive is intended for professional instructors aged 18 or over and is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect improvements or legal requirements. Significant changes will be shown in the app or on this page, with the updated date.
